What Is a Body Wrap Treatment?
A body wrap is a full-body treatment in which the skin is first prepared through gentle exfoliation, then generously coated with a therapeutic preparation — such as mineral-rich seaweed, stimulating peppermint oil, or deeply nourishing botanical butters — and finally wrapped in warm layers to allow the ingredients to penetrate deeply into the skin. The treatment typically lasts 60 minutes, during which you rest comfortably as the ingredients do their work.
Body wraps have a long history in European spa traditions, particularly in thalassotherapy (the therapeutic use of seawater and marine products) and in wellness traditions across the Mediterranean. The concept is simple and elegant: create an environment of sustained warmth, absorption, and rest, while the skin drinks in whatever has been applied to it.

What to Expect During Your Body Wrap
Arrival & Preparation
You will be shown to a private treatment room and provided with appropriate draping. The room is warmed and prepared with your chosen wrap formulation.
Application
Your practitioner will generously apply the wrap preparation — seaweed, peppermint blend, or butter formulation — to your entire body using therapeutic massage strokes. This is already relaxing before the wrap even begins.
Wrapping
Your body is then wrapped in warm layers — sheet, blanket, or thermal wrapping — to create a gentle cocoon that holds heat and promotes absorption. You rest comfortably while the ingredients penetrate.
Rest & Absorption (20–30 min)
During the wrap, many clients fall into a deeply relaxed, meditative state. The warmth, the earthy or minty scent, and the complete stillness create a profoundly restorative experience.
Reveal
The wrap is removed and the difference in your skin is typically visible immediately — softer, smoother, more luminous. A light moisturizer may be applied to seal in the benefits.
